This stunningly handsome man has quite the sad story to tell. Smudge came to us via our cruelty department after dozens of cats we seized from living in sub-standard, filthy conditions. Sadly, the majority of these cats have tested positive for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus(FIV) and other upper-respiratory viruses. Thankfully, and surprisingly, Smudge has been negative for FIV on two tests so we can confidently say he does not carry this virus. He has been treated for his upper respiratory infections but may require minor ongoing care in his new home. Mr. Smudge can tend to be a bit reserved but will become a bit of a playful nut when he comes out of his shell. He isn't the cuddliest of cats but will be sure to keep you entertained with his antics! He really enjoys the company of other cats and would do best in a home with a confident feline companion. His interestingly coloured coat and flowing locks do require regular grooming to stay in tip-top condition.
